- Questions & Answers
Do you have any Question?Question: Hi, This looks really nice! But what is the thickness of the actual grate? My concern is it might warp if it's too thin, just like what happened to my hexagon stove. 04 Sep, 2019Answer: The thickness of the grate is 0.75 mil. We tested the grill ourselves over a campfire and had no warping issues. Like all of our products we offer a 100% guarantee so if you ever had an issue we would be happy to issue a refund or replace the product.Question: Could this be used over a MSR PocketRocket Stove? I would be putting a large pot on top of it. 04 Sep, 2019Answer: The grill is 4.5 inches tall so the pocket rocket stove would not fit under the grill. However, any isobutane stove that sits off to the side of the canister and not directly above it will work fine. We recommend not putting anything on the grill over 5lbs.Question: Is this grill likely to warp in a camp fire? A previous question partially addressed the issue, but once in a while a fire gets out of control, and I've had grills warp in the heat before. I wouldn't want to lose an expensive grill on a multi-day trip. Warping is not an option when this grill might sustain me for a week in the woods. 09 Sep, 2019Answer: We have not had any warping issues with any of our other similar products such as the Fire Box Grill. We have tested the grill in campfires the size for it's intended use. We do not recommend that you use the grill in extreme heat. A campfire small enough for the grill to fit overtop will not result in any damage.
