- Questions & Answers
Do you have any Question?Question: So, the miracle properties of TiFusion are effective only in the presence of light... How much light? Direct summer sun? Does it work in winter at higher latitudes? Low, slanting afternoon light, filtered through many extra miles of horizontal atmosphere (and pollution...)? Indoors in a commercial gym? At home in my sparsely lit basement gym? Spelunking by the light of LED headlamps and phosphorescent moss? Of course, it couldn't work as a base layer, so what WOULD work best under a TiFusion garment in colder weather? What flavor of light? Visible spectrum? UV? IR? I don't know about you, but the parts of me that need odor control (anti-bacterial) action are in my pits, away from direct light, and most indirect light, most of the time. SO, how does that work for normal people? How well do the anti-stink properties of TiFusion compare with the tested-and-found-effective anti-stink properties of my Merino wool garments (which also brush off dirt, by the way)? If I have been wearing a TiFusion garment all day, under another garment, and only bring the TiFusion garment out into the light after many hours, will it retroactively deal with accumulated sweat and oil and bacteria crap that make pit-stink? Or does it need to be exposed to light constantly while being worn, in order to prevent odor? 28 Mar, 2015Answer: TiFusion works in any amount of visible light (natural or artificial) regardless of conditions like altitude, light angle, filtration, etc. Though places like under arms don't receive a lot of direct light, they'll receive enough light during the day to activate TiFusion's odor reducing properties on the apparel. TiFusion will deal with retroactively accumulated odor, dirt, and sweat though it would be much quicker to rinse the shirt, wring it out, and let it dry in the sun or other light.Question: Does the Slag offer any UPF protection? 13 May, 2015Answer: Yes! The Slag and the rest of our TiFusion line offers up to 97% UV protection. Be sure to check our lab test results for that and other information.
