They work okay

They are light and strong. Need to push them in all the way or they turn.

Good product. I switch out most regulr stakes on new tent purchases.
Wish you would also have a flourecent yellow option as folks who live in the SW camp on sand colored ground and that orange blends in too well.

These stakes worked exceptionally well , way better that the flimsy stakes I got from that Z- place w/ my plex. Went in and took purchase readily no bending. Thank you Vargo for quality products!

The lightest and strongest tent stakes I could find.

Used these as secondary stakes for the bathtub floor of my GG DCF The One. The orange head is nice, but after a few rock beatings, it starts to wear off (which should be expected).

Tent stakes are lightweight and work well. The orange color makes them harder to lose! Not sure how durable the orange coating is yet. Note: these tent stakes are great for summer and fall but would not work as snow stakes.

Bought these years ago when they first came out without the plasticote and ended up adding it. Now these are my go to for my backpacking tents. Usually use these shepherd hooks to stake out tent corners and use the Alpine stakes for guy outs for the fly since those are more susceptible to pulling out. Oh, and buy a durable cuben fiber tent stake sack so you don't over time wear through the cheap nylon ones that come with your tent and end up getting a hole in your tent from the stake or shepard's hook.

If you can get just a slight angle to them they will hold really well. I use them on the corners and side walls of my Duplex Tent and they have held in a lot of different conditions.

I'm such a fan of these stakes, I've gotten a set to go with each of my tents and I've used my first set for over 5 years. They're incredibly light but have never bent one bit, even in the rocky soils of the Appalachian Trail. The orange heads help with visibility--so much so that I've never lost one! And they give an unexpected bonus of adding a bit of grip, which makes ties hold even better and makes them easier to pull out.

I've used them once. As always, customer service is great. Stakes did well in some front country camping. However, one of them bent while I was using a rubber mallet to drive them into the ground. I wasn't expecting them to bend so easily. But for the most part, I'm happy.

Might just stick with Vargo's Ti stakes for use in sand in all applications. They seem stronger.
