Vargo Triad performed without fail. It was a great summer for backpacking. From the close to home backpacking trips in Big Sur to the Sierra Nevadas, my Vargo Triad was with me on all of them. Laid to rest all the fears of poor performance at higher altitudes when I had to stop to melt snow for drinking water at 12,000 ft. near Thuderbolt Peak. Using a plastic water bottle to carry fuel as oppose to a bulky aluminum container is a bonus.
