UPDATE: After posting my original review, Vargo stepped up to the plate and knocked it out of the park. They replaced my titanium chopsticks free of charge, and they slightly modified the design of the nub that attaches to the wooden part to prevent my original issue from ever happening again. I am very impressed with Vargo's customer service. Now I can add these impossibly light chopsticks back into my EDC with confidence! Thanks, Vargo!

Bought these awhile back and have been using them in my EDC. Wonderfully light, good mouth feel, incredibly compact. Couldn't ask for more!

One star lost because when I first got them, one of the chopstick tips would seat in it's handle solidly and the other would not. Swapped the tips and handles, and had the same issue. No big deal as I was able to use them in a way that did not make them fall out, but I did need to be conscience of the looseness of the one chopstick..

Anyway, flash forward a couple months and now, in addition to the tip not seating in the handle part - now the wooden tip falls right out of the tip's nub. All. The. Time. I can use them if I am extremely careful, but usually that one wooden tip falls out into whatever I am eating - followed closely by the titanium nub - at least once per meal. Super frustrating having to dig them out of my food with my fingers - only to have it happen again a few bites later.. Knocked off a couple stars for that.

I got a few good months out of these, but they were never perfect and now they are completely useless.

I’m Asian, I try different brand chopsticks like Snow P**k, Montbe*l, etc. This is the best one. The tension lock hold the stick firmly, other brand may easily loose off while using. Highly recommended.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQs)

Our original travel chopsticks were made of steel.  We sold the original
design for many years but when I decided to upgrade to titanium, I also decided I wanted to simplify the design even more.
The current design removed the need for a complicated spring-loaded attachment mechanism and replaced it with a simple tensioned design.

We use a unique combination of wooden tips and titanium base for our chopsticks. We believe wood provides for better grip and feel in your mouth while the titanium base provides an excellent lightweight non-corrosive tube to house the tips. Because our chopsticks are composed of two parts, they are a compact and perfect companion to take with you everywhere.

We recommend hand washing our titanium chopsticks to avoid warping of the wooden tips.
