OUR ADVICE: HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT STOVE FOR YOU

Each of our stoves were designed for a specific purpose or type of backpacker in mind.

• If you are looking for THE LIGHTEST ALCOHOL STOVE we make, our original Titanium Triad Alcohol Backpacking Stove is still our lightest design (weighs 1 ounce). The Triad is also the most compact and made of solid one-piece construction.

• Our Titanium Triad XE Alcohol/Fuel Tab Stove, although similar in look to the Triad, functions very differently and is specifically designed to work as an alcohol or fuel tab stove. Alcohol is difficult to light in cold temperatures or high elevation so for four-season, all-terrain cooking, we recommend the Triad XE stove.

• If you have a tendency to be tough on your gear, then the Titanium Decagon Alcohol Backpacking Stove was designed for you. With no moving parts and solid one-piece construction, there is nothing to break or lose while still offering reliable performance. Unlike the Triad or Triad XE, the Decagon must be primed before placing your pot on top (otherwise you will extinguish the priming flame).

• The Hexagon Backpacking Wood Stove is our bestselling backpacking stove. Burns renewable biomass fuel that can be found anytime, anywhere. Light and compact, it also comes in your choice of titanium or stainless steel. Basic fire skills are needed to operate.
