OUR ADVICE
Titanium tent stakes are generally smaller diameter than comparable aluminum stakes and are therefore easier to probe into the ground without bending. When you hit a rock titanium stakes tend to flex slightly without permanently bending and make it easier to work into difficult soil.
For most situations, our titanium shepherds hook stakes are recommended and are the least expensive. For those that like to be able to pound your stakes into the ground, the nail stakes are a great choice and are our strongest tent stake. The V shaped stakes have greater surface area and greater holding power. The Crevice stake is actually a bit stronger than the UL Ascent stakes, which we recommend for snow camping tent stakes. |
