Our Advice

We offer the three basic types of car rack systems made by Yakima.  Here is advice on selecting the correct one.

• If your car has a rain gutter above the door then you need the Yakima Raingutter Tower.
• If your car does not have a rain gutter above the door, then you need the Yakima Q-Tower.
• If you purchase the Yakima Q-Tower, you also need a Yakima Q-Clip that is right for your car.
• If you have a truck or SUV that has factory side rails, then you need the Yakima Railgrab
• The Yakima Crossbars are sold separately but required to go with any of the rack systems.
