A simple pull to lengthen it, a click on the button and the system blocks. The exact point is indicated by a colored line showing where upper section meets up and by the hand symbol showing where the spring releases blocking the system. A safety spine can be inserted into the two sections to block the system permanently in extreme conditions. The tip of the spike is made out of long lasting and resistant carbide, sintered material. Baskets of different diameters can be fitted.
